Razor Braids - "Kellogg's"

Brooklyn based, queer, all female/non-binary rockers Razor Braids are back with a new single that shows off their more quiet indie rock side. "Kellogg's" is more along the lines of a 1960's crooner song than a punk rager. It's quiet and absolutely lovely, showing off the band's vocal and harmonizing chops than you would expect from a band with "Razor" in their name. The song still has a quiet kind of noise sneaking around in the background, especially as the song goes on. "Kellogg's" is impossibly intriguing and captivating.

Hollye Bynum says of the new song:

"I wrote these lyrics when I was going through a really tough breakup and shortly after experiencing a traumatic head injury. It's one of those moments where you say to yourself, 'How did I get here?' Years later during the initial Covid shutdown, I revisited this song when I was far away from my band and feeling a similar feeling of 'what the fuck is going to happen next?' I think, along with the rest of the world, I was confronted with the realization that shit is out of my hands and ultimately had to learn to lean into that."
