Sweden's Goat are making psychedelic music that is as brilliant as it is fun. Their latest single, "Goatbrain," has a strong groove and sounds more like world music than a more rock based version of psychedelia. It's probably more rooted in the more experimental side of The Beatles than garage psych... at least until the fuzzed out guitar solo kicks in. "Goatbrain" is such an all encompassing slice of psychedelic music that is sure to grab your attention instantly and refuse to let it go. It's the kind of song that is almost set up in segments, and each time it switches sonically, you end up loving it even more.
