Hallelujah the Hills - "Punk Rock's Gonna Be Great Now That Trump's in Charge"

We're starting to come pretty close to being a Hallelujah the Hills fansite, but they keep doing great things like giving away albums and releasing great new political songs. "Punk Rock's Gonna Be Great Now That Trump's in Charge" is an acoustic ditty that may be more of a solo song for singer Ryan Walsh that takes on the notion that even though progressives are flipping out about a Trump presidency, at least we have great music to look forward to. I'm usually pretty horrible figuring out the meaning of songs, but "I may be in an internment camp/but then these kids turned on their amps/now punk rock's gonna be great now that trump's in charge" and "now everyone walks around carrying a gun/but these all-ages basement shows sure are a lot of fun" seem pretty obvious. The song itself follows a pretty standard folk protest song rhythm, but that's kinda the point. Plus, there's something very get off our lawn about it, which fits us perfectly well.
