Carissa Johnson & the Cure-Alls - "The Upside"

Boston's Carissa Johnson has cemented herself as one of the best songwriters out there, and her latest single with The Cure-Alls just helps to prove that. "The Upside" is among the best of Johnson's blend of garage pop rock. It's huge verses, huge guitars, and even huger choruses. "The Upside" has a great punk edge to it, while still being one of the catchiest songs you'll hear all year, with some of the greatest vocal harmonies around today.
