Boston's Eldridge Rodriguez has released a new single that changes up the band's sound while still sounding like themselves. "A Feeling That Won't Go Away" is a slacker anthem. It has that 90's slacker vibe going for it, along with a chilled out yet intense vibe, but it's far more pop (albeit noise pop) than we ever could have admitted something sounded in the 90's. It's reminding me a lot of the slower songs of The Sheila Divine mixed with The Rolling Stones' ballads. "A Feeling That Goes Away" is a dark, brooding indie rock/pop song that still has a slightly uplifting feel to it.
You can listen to "A Feeling That Won't Go Away" below. Atrophy will be released at a later date via Midriff Records. For more on Eldridge Rodriguez, check out the band on Facebook and Instagram.
