Sometimes you just see a band's name and a song title and know exactly what you're going to get. That's the case with The Hellflowers and their new single "Little Boogie." The "Los Angeles party punks" have a sound that combines punk rock and rockabilly, leaning more into the realm of punk. It's highly danceable and upbeat, which is should be since it's called "Little Boogie." The Hellflowers might be a but more pop punk than some of their punk meets rockabilly forefathers, but this isn't reinventing the genre. This is just fun rock and roll music meant to party to, and we could all use more of that these days.
