Little Misty - "Old Ghosts"

It's rare for a band to exist in both the worlds of progressive and traditional folk. Little Misty's new single does both. "Old Ghosts" sounds very modern, particularly in its drum progression, but it keeps a strong Celtic feel to it. Traditional Irish folk mixed with modern, progressive folk sounds like it would be a trainwreck, but Little Misty pull it off expertly.

"Old Ghosts" is the first song Little Misty wrote as a band. The band explains the song: "Despite the ways in which we evolve, we still carry the past with us along the way. 'Old Ghosts' is the kind of song you listen to when you’re on a long trip, looking at the trees go by through the side window of a train. It’s all about moving forward."

You can listen to "Old Ghosts" below. Little Misty's debut album will be out February 14. For more on Little Misty, check out their website.
