Lip Critic - "In the Wawa (Convinced I'm a God)"

The latest from Lip Critic is definitely not going to be for everyone. "In the Wawa (Convinced I'm a God)" is a loud and noisy clusterfuck of electronic noise and samples that just barrels over the listener, but in the best way possible. It's an intense song filled with shouting vocals that is designed to repel more people than it will attract. However, it's also oddly melodic (in its own strange way). The samples create a surprisingly hypnotic effect that the press release refers to as sounding like a banshee. That's certainly correct, but by the end of the song they're more of a siren.

You can watch the video for "In the Wawa (Convinced I'm a God)" below. Hex Dealer is out May 17 on Partisan Records, and is available for pre-order through Bandcamp. For more on Lip Critic, check out the band on Instagram and Twitter.
