Swansea Sound hail from Swansea, UK and make this delightfully twee style of power pop. Their latest single, "Markin' It Down," is a duet between Hue Williams and Amelia Fletcher that sees Williams playing a customer at a second hand shop and Fletcher as the unimpressed employee. It's a fun song that could be garage rock if they just rocked a little bit harder. But that's not Swansea Sound's... sound. "Markin' It Down" just kind of plods around in its own gear and softly rocks. It's like power pop without the usual power. This is the kind of sound that could only come from the UK.
