Artist : Salvia Album : 001011 Quick Thoughts : If you've kept up with my weekly breakdowns at all, you know I'm a fan of off-kilter pop music, and especially when the idea itself is wholly deconstructed. Salvia is perhaps the latest iteration in that area, with an album of confusingly compelling anti-pop that sounds like it comes from a robot that loves you. Whether it's the title track or her cover of "Money" (that's what I want), it's a truly strange and wonderful album that I've already gone back to a few times. Give this a shot - it might not be your thing, but that's okay.
