Heather Maloney - "Light You Leave Behind"

The upcoming album from Heather Maloney was never meant to be released publicly. It's a deeply personal album that the Northampton singer-songwriter wrote and recorded after the death of her father, some of which was recorded in her childhood home. The latest single, "Light You Leave Behind," is a song about her father's youth spent sneaking into shows at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City. It's a beautiful song with its roots in folk, but with a little more rock to it than we typically hear in Maloney's music.
