The Chats - "Dine N Dash"

Photo by Matt Walter Australia's The Chats are going to make us all feel old. Really old. First of all, the band formed when the three members were in high school... in 2016. Second, their latest single, "Dine N Dash," is literally about eating in a restaurant and bailing on the check. But it's a gloriously fun, kick ass old school sounding punk song, and not just what would be considered old school to kids in their early 20's. "Dine N Dash" has a snottier than you can imagine late 70's/early 80's punk feel. It's a mixture of Sex Pistols snot and Descendents brattiness. The video clocks in at two minutes and twelve seconds, and the song isn't even playing for that entire time. Yeah, no matter how old this makes you feel, it's pretty great.
