TORRES - "Hug From a Dinosaur"

Mackenzie Scott has been showing flashes of greatness for the past six years, constantly threatening to explode with every new release. Her upcoming album will be what launches her into theaters. Her latest single, "Hug From a Dinosaur," is brilliant. Besides having one of the greatest song titles in recent memory, it's this fuzzy and grungy pop/rock jam. It's this impossibly bouncy and upbeat pop song, but with enough rock guitar and grunge edge to it to keep even the crustiest rock fan happy. Seriously, making indie rock stalwarts and people that just want to groove and dance happy with the same song is nearly impossible, but TORRES pulls it off with a killer song and her charm.
