The Freqs - "Jellyfish Cadaver"

Salem, MA's The Freqs are back with a blistering new single. "Jellyfish Cadaver" is a ripper of a tune. It lands somewhere in the worlds of punk, alt-rock, and metal. It's a loud and heavy powerhouse of a song that also has some roots in noise rock. For those of us that enjoy music that is both heavy and also kinda artsy, this one will be for you. "Jellyfish Cadaver" is reminding me a lot of earlier Mudhoney, but maybe a bit louder and more frenetic. The Freqs may not be the band for everyone, but I don't think it's possible to be their fan and not be completely enamored with them.
