Los Pepes - "Paradise"

Image
London's Los Pepes have a new single out, and you're going to need to check this one out. "Paradise" is an ultra fast power pop/garage rock single. It's like a punked up version of some our your favorite 60's garage rock songs, and it's both raw and polished at the same time. "Paradise" is a hard song to pigeonhole, because it's both pure power pop rock and roll as well as punk. Not many artists can stand on the narrow line between the two genres without committing more to one than the other, but Los Pepes pull it off expertly. This is one of the more fun rock songs we've brought you this year, and it's instantly infectious. You can watch the video for "Paradise" below. Out of the Void is due out April 25 on Spaghetty Town Records in the US, and is available for pre-order through Bandcamp . For more on Los Pepes, check out the band on Facebook and Instagram .

Los Pepes - "Thoughtless Boys"

Photo by Stuart MacDonald There are certain record labels that you generally know what you're getting and know it's going to be great. Based in Georgia, Spaghetty Town Records has been a go to of ours for punk, garage rock, and power pop. Their latest release is "Thoughtless Boys" from Los Pepes. The London band's new single is a 60's style garage rock track through a distorted punk rock filter. It's an amped up track that sounds like a merging of vintage garage rock, 70's power pop, and a more modern aesthetic. This one is going to be perfect for yelling out at a small club show in your favorite dive bar venue. Los Pepes could quickly become of favorite of yours and ours.
