It's mostly an instrumental (except for him occasionally saying the song's title), and this one feels and sounds unbelievably vintage. This could easily be a lost track from the 50's or 60's, and listening to this one is a delight. What I truly love about the three singles we've heard from Qui ñ ones' upcoming solo album is that all three sound completely different not only from each other, but also from Thee Sineers, while all still sounding like they belong together. I personally didn't hear it, but that's not the case with his latest single. "Don't Let Go" is pure rocksteady meets soul. Particularly the horn and guitar are unmistakably rocksteady, but Qui ñ ones' vocals hit this interesting middle ground between the two styles. This is perfect for fans of both vintage soul and any blend of reggae/ska. "Driftin'" had us excited to hear his upcoming album, but "Don't Let Go" has us dying to hear more.
