Robotic Hawks - All Business

Ahead of their appearance at the 2024 Rock and Roll Rumble next weekend, New Hampshire's Robotic Hawks have released a new four song EP. The songs on All Business are just straight up alt-rock songs destined to be classics. The lead single, "High Maintenance," sounds like if Guided By Voices decided to write a hit song and straight up knocked it out of the park. Robotic Hawks are definitely influenced by the 90's, but All Business is hardly just a throwback or tribute to that decade. Robotic Hawks take those now classic sounds and update them to sound fresh for 2024. Plus, for those of us who love a good cover song, the EP closes with a cover of Terence Trent D'Arby's classic "Wishing Well." The only negative thing about All Business is that it has us wishing for more from Robotic Hawks, as this feels like a taste of even more greatness to come.

Tyler Pollard (vocals/bass) says of his band's new EP:

“The song themes on All Business center around the need for self-awareness. Sometimes you have to ask yourself the hard questions, whether you want to or not. Trust yourself before you can trust others. Gotta have faith, right?”

You can listen to All Business below. The EP is currently available via Bandcamp. For more on Robotic Hawks, check out the band on Instagram and Facebook. They will be playing this year's Rock and Roll Rumble on April 13 at The Middle East with Roser, CE Skidmore & the Damn Fine Band, and Mammothor.
