Nisa - "Dance Alone"

In case you're like us and can't wait until Nisa's debut album to be released on Friday, the Brooklyn based artist just released a new single. "Dance Alone" drops any of the indie rock that was a part of her earlier singles and is just a pure dance song. As you can probably tell from the title, this isn't exactly a club banger. Instead, it's the kind of song that's perfect for just dancing in your house to. It's the rare dance song that's oddly intimate and kind of quiet (at least compared to club tracks). Even the crankiest pop hater is going to find it nearly impossible to not bop a little to "Dance Alone," and that's the mastery of Nisa's music.

Nisa Lumaj says of her latest single:

“Nothing feels more freeing to me than dancing, and watching someone you love find themselves in movement.”

You can watch the video for "Dance Alone" below. Shapeshifting is due out April 26 on Tender Loving Empire, and is available for pre-order here. For more on Nisa, check out the artist's website. Upcoming tour dates are below the video.
