Bnny - "Something Blue"

Chicago's Bnny are quickly becoming an indie rock favorite around here, and really everywhere. The band's latest single, "Something Blue," is just modern indie rock perfection. It lives in that world of 90's inspired indie rock that has a modern pop sheen over it. Jessica Viscius provides vocals that have a touch of the slacker vibe to them, but it's obvious she cares far too much about the subject to truly be a slacker song. "Something Blue" kind of sounds like if Mazzy Star decided to rock out a bit harder, and used some Sonic Youth guitar tunings.
