Subsonic Eye - "J-O-B"
Photo by Christopher Sim Singapore's Subsonic Eye continue making some of the most compelling indie rock out there. Their latest single, "J-O-B," is an indie rock song that is just as bouncy and fun as it is noisy. It's reminding me of the more mainstream side of Dinosaur Jr meets The Beths. It's filled with jangly and fuzzed out guitars that drive you straight through the song. "J-O-B" is the kind of song that is much more poppy than it has any right to be, and sounds like it's straight out of the 90's. Subsonic Eye have gifted us one of the most dreamy songs of the year, and we couldn't be more excited.
