Reckoners - "Woman's Woman"

Reckoners are a Boston early soul and classic rock roots supergroup consisting of Tim Gearan on vocals and guitar, Johnny Trama (Bettye LaVette, Dub Apocalypse) on guitar, Tom Arey (J. Geils Band, G. Love) on drums, Marc Hickox (Bettye LaVette, Charlie Musselwhite) on bass, and Darby Wolf (Bettye LaVette, Rubblebucket) on keyboards. Their latest single, "Woman's Woman," is a laid back soul and Americana based track that feels as familiar as an old blanket while having a fresh feel. Reckoners aren't breaking new ground on "Woman's Woman," but they've mastered a sound we all love without imitating the decades of soul before them.
