The Buckleys Cover "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus"
While every year there are new versions of "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," I can't even think of the last time I heard "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus" let alone a new cover of the song. The Buckleys have given us a new version of the semi-forgotten Christmas favorite. The Australian band have updated the version slightly. It doesn't sound quite like 2021, but it also doesn't sound like a 1940's swing song like the original was. This new version is a little more funk and country, but with enough 1940's swing to keep it true to the original. Like any good Christmas song, this one is a ton of fun.
