Washer - "Blammo"
One of the best parts of the early to mid-90's was just how weird music could be and still get played on the radio and MTV. If a song had a cool enough video, it could get added to the Buzz Bin and at least be a minor hit. That's the vibe I'm getting from the latest from Washer. "Blammo" has that weirdo, kinda quirky sound that could easily have been a surprise hit thirty years ago. The song has an interesting mixture of Dinosaur Jr meets Beck with a little of The Folk Implosion thrown in. It's a little noisy and a lot off kilter, but back when people were just throwing songs against the wall to see what sticks, Washer could have had a pretty decent hit with "Blammo."
