The title just sounds like a cassette of country classics you'd buy at a convenience store or truck stop. Melissa Carper backs that sound up. Her latest single, "Back When," is indeed country gold. Except for the modern recording, it sounds like a song that could have come out any time between the 1950's and 1970's. It's going to immediately make you think of artists like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, and Hank Williams.
