Fast Eddy - "In Too Deep"

Image
Back in November I referred to the latest single from Fast Eddy as "... between garage and punk rock, with just a tiny bit of glam shine on it." Now the Denver group are back with something completely different. "In Too Deep" is much more of a power pop song mixed with mid-90's alt-rock. The song is mind bogglingly catchy, and has one of the better "da da da da" style group choruses you've heard in a while. I certainly didn't expect a rock song leaning this heavily into pop from Fast Eddy, but it's great to know they have unexpected range. You can listen to "In Too Deep" below. To the Stars is due out March 15 on Spaghetty Town Records. For more on Fast Eddy, check out the band's website .

Fast Eddy - "Spirit Commander"

Image via Facebook Sometimes you just want some punk rock and roll. If you're in that kind of mood, you should check out the latest from Fast Eddy. "Spirit Commander" is just fast paced, fist pumping rock music. It lands somewhere in the world between garage and punk rock, with just a tiny bit of glam shine on it. This is the kind of song that just belongs in a dive bar. Fast Eddy are no nonsense rock and rollers, and "Spirit Commander" is just going to latch itself to your lizard brain and refuse to let go. You can listen to "Spirit Commander" below. To the Stars is due out February 2024 on Spaghetty Town Records. For more on Fast Eddy, check out the band's website .

Fast Eddy - "Take a Look"

Photo by David Sands Spaghetty Town Records have become one of our go-to labels for pure no nonsense rock and roll. Their latest release comes from Denver's Fast Eddy. Named after their old drug dealer, the band just released "Take a Look." The new single is a little more power pop than we'd expect from Spaghetty Town Records, but it's still pure rock and roll. It has a very 70's sound, but a dirtier version of power pop from that time period. I'm reminded a lot of Cheap Trick mushed together with the New York Dolls. There's a lot to love here, with a laid back intensity throughout and glammed up rock just dripping out of your speakers. You can watch the video for "Take a Look" below. Take a Look , the album, is due out January 21 on Spaghetty Town Records. The album can be pre-ordered here . For more on Fast Eddy, check out the band's website .
