The Martha's Vineyard Ferries - "Decorations" / "Context"

The Martha's Vineyard Ferries are set to play all over the Northeast in late August and early September, and now the supergroup have a new single out. The band (which features Bob Weston of Shellac, Chris Brokaw of Come and Codeine, and Elisha Weisner of Kahoots) just released "Decorations" with the B-side "Context." If you're a fan of any of the members of The Martha's Vineyard Ferries' pther bands, you're going to love these new songs. This is noisy and punk inflected indie rock. "Context," in particular, is a fairly straight forward punk song. Both songs have an aggressive side, but are also oddly fun. The Martha's Vineyard Ferries make classic style punk meets indie rock, which is exactly what we want from a band featuring Weston, Brokaw, and Weisner.

You can listen to "Decorations" and "Context" below. You can pre-order the 7" via Bandcamp. For more on The Martha's Vineyard Ferries, check out the band on Facebook and Instagram. Upcoming tour dates are below the single.
