Fat Randy - "Dry Mouth"
Boston noise punks Fat Randy are back with a new single, and this one is a burner. "Dry Mouth" is just about as loud and fast as a song can get. It obliterates the lines between punk and metal, and sounds kind of like a cross between The Melvins and System of a Down... just a little more on the punk side of those artists. "Dry Mouth" cycles through multiple tempos and complete changes throughout its length that it feels like it's at least two or three times as long as it actually is. It's a scream filled festival of sound, and it's most likely a little too early in the morning for this one. At least it's sure to jolt you awake.
