The song reimagines Amos as having married "... a dangerous, power-hungry billionaire" in her past. The song shows off the beauty of her music mixed with anger and sadness. "Shush" seems to be building and building into a sonic explosion that never quite comes. It's great to see that Amos can still be as vital as ever at age sixty-two, and this latest song stands up amongst her entire body of work. The alt-rock legend is back with a new single that you're going to love if you've ever loved her music. "Stronger Together" introduces her listeners to a new character: The Daughter. It also features vocals from Amos' daughter, Tash. It's a highly if quietly political song, and it might be a little bit more pop than her 90's classics, it sits right up there with her best piano pop. "Stronger Together" is a beautiful and powerful new single, and her vocal harmonies with her daughter make the song even more stunning. Long term fans are going to be very happy with this one.
