Jean Caffeine - "I Don't Want to Kill You Anymore"

According to the press release for her latest single, Jean Caffeine is the most famous musician you've never heard of. She was the drummer for Pulsallama when they opened for The Clash, and she also has a cameo in Slacker. Her latest single is "I Don't Want to Kill You Anymore." The song borrows heavily from 1960's girl group/doo wop classics, but with a touch of punk sensibility. The subject matter is obviously not very 60's, and there's some punk rock guitar that pops in every so often with little to no warning. "I Don't Want to Kill You Anymore" is almost criminally catchy and infectious, and has a saccharine quality to it that is offset by the subject matter and biting sense of humor.
