Hailing from Worcester, MA, Day-Glow Foxes are set to release "... an apocalyptic concept record that's half pop, half hard rock." Their latest single, "Human," seems to lean a little bit more on the pop side of things. It's filled with melodies and harmonies that could seem at home on Top 40 radio, but you would never hear anything like this being counted down by whoever has replaced Casey Kasem these days. It's highly electronic sounding, kind of like the lighter side of darkwave. But also much more rock than pop or darkwave would be. "Human" is the kind of song that is too rock for pop and too pop for rock, but once it finds its correct audience, people are going to gravitate towards it quickly.
You can listen to "Human" below. Modern Eschatology is due out April 25. For more on Day-Glow Foxes, check out the band on Instagram and Twitter.
