Soraia - "So Holy"

Philadelphia's Soraia are a no nonsense rock and roll band. The quartet's latest single, "So Holy," is a hard rock song with no bells and whistles. It's the kind of song that's going to remind you of artists like Joan Jett and The Stooges. This is the kind of rock song that is just fun to listen to. It's loud and fast and heavy, but also surprisingly catchy. "So Holy" is a little punk and a little metal, but it's all rock and roll, and sometimes that's just what you need. Crank this one, bang your head, and pump your fist... Soraia is back with new music!

Lead vocalist ZouZou Mansour says of the band's upcoming EP:

“We had a lot to say on this set of songs. We looked outward at the injustices in the world, but we also looked inward, addressing topics like feeling like, at times, we had to conform as artists. Doing this EP was liberating.”

You can watch the video for "So Holy" below. Confessions from the Vena Cava is due out September 12 on Wicked Cool Records. For more on Soraia, check out the band's website. Upcoming tour dates are below the video and include October 4 at Starlite in Southbridge and October 5 at The Jungle in Somerville.
