Gloorp - "Smoggg"

When an artist goes by the name Gloorp and the song is called "Smoggg," it's safe to assume it's not going to be a Top 40 single. Instead, this is an experimental drum-centric track leaning heavily into the realm of electronic music. Nearly every song on Gloorp's upcoming album was created by hand, giving the song a much more organic feel than the majority of electronic music out there today. "Smoggg" could be a dance if you try hard enough, but it's more of a chill out and just let the wave of sound wash over you kind of song. We're totally digging this one, and think that a good percentage of you will, too.

Garrett Burke (aka Gloorp) says of his latest single:

"This is the first song I recorded for the album. After releasing my self-titled album in 2023, I wanted to make new drum-centric material to perform live, which was the catalyst for the music on this record. This track is more or less the first thing I came up with after combining some old modular recordings, 808 drum samples, and whatever my hands did on the drumpad when prompted with a 160 bpm click track."
