If It's Too Loud...

Photo via Facebook Friday will see the release of Supreme Clientele 2 , the sequel to Ghostface Killah's iconic 2000 album Supreme Clientele . His latest single from the upcoming album, "Metaphysics," shows that Ghostface is still one of the most vital creators in all of hip hop, more than thirty years into his career. "Metaphysics" is a great hip hop song that shows the Wu-Tang legend giving a masterclass on emceeing to the rising stars of today. Ghostface Killah says of his latest single: “'Metaphysics' is a record I made back in '03. I saved it for a time just like this.”  You can watch the video for "Metaphysics" below. Photo by Danny Hastings If you're a hip hop fan, you know and love Ghostface Killah's iconic classic 2000 album Supreme Clientele. You'll be thrilled to know that Ghostface is set to release a sequel, Supreme Clientele 2 , twenty-five years later as part of Mass Appeal's Legend Has It campaign. The first single from the upcoming album, "Rap Kingpin," sounds like classic Ghostface Killah but slightly updated for 2025. This year Nas' Illmatic turns thirty years old. The legendary album included three songs produced by DJ Premier ("N.Y. State of Mind," "Represent," and "Memory Lane"), so to help celebrate the two have collaborated on a new track. "Define My Name" isn't exactly a throwback to 1994. Instead, it's a natural progression from the duo's work on Illmatic. If you loved Nas' landmark album, you're going to be into "Define My Name." It's great to see two legends work together again, especially when the results are as great as they are here. Neither has lost a single step, and we can't wait to hear more. You can listen to "Define My Name" below. The song is out now via Mass Appeal, with a collaborative album due out later this year. For more on DJ Premier, check out the artist on Instagram .
