Caroline Romano - "Panic Attack"

Photo by Justin Key Out of the two of us here at If It's Too Loud..., I'm hardly the lover of pop. That's starting to change, and I'm slowly admitting to liking some of the more pop oriented music out there. My latest discovery is Nashville's Caroline Romano. At just twenty years old, Romano has crafted this wonderful song "Panic Attack" that's only really pop because... I guess what else would it be? It's a two and a half minute song about having a panic attack that focuses mostly on Romano's vocals with some quite sparse instrumentation. It's really just light guitar, strings, and some other occasional instruments. It's a gorgeously lush song despite it's sparseness, and some of the most intriguing alt-pop I've heard in a long time.
