ELUCID - "The World is Dog"

One half of hip hop duo Armand Hammer, EUCLID has released a new single on Fat Possum Records. "The World is Dog" doesn't sound anything like your typical mainstream rap song. It's much more experimental, with a layer of noise over it. It's a chaotic sound that seems like a modernized, industrial version of Public Enemy's early releases. Plus, ELUCID's flow sounds more like a stream of consciousness than anything else. It's great to hear an artist pushing the boundaries of hip hop in such a way, and ELUCID is going to be an artist we're going to keep an eye on.

ELUCID says of his latest single:

This song was written and recorded during the first session I set up with Jon.  It quickly established REVELATOR's sonic identity and a practice in striving for intensity.”

You can listen to "The World is Dog" below. REVELATOR is due out October 11 on Fat Possum Records, and is available for pre-order here. For more on ELUCID, check out the artist on Instagram. Upcoming tour dates are below the song.
