Hailing from Columbus, OH, Snarls describe themselves as "glitter emo alt rock," and that pretty much nails it. Their latest single, "Walk in the Woods," is this impossibly lush song that leans heavily into dream pop while keeping the hooks of emo intact. It's as huge as an indie rock song could possibly get, and I mean that in a positive way. It reminds me of a less quirky And the Kids, and their press release compares them to Hop Along, Beach Bunny, and Haim, and I really can't argue with any of those, either. You can watch the video for "Walk in the Woods" below. Snarls will have a new album out on March 6 (I don't believe it has a title yet) via Take This to Heart Records.
