Shower Curtain - "wish u well"

New York City's Shower Curtain have a sound that's going to appeal to fans of music that bridges the gap between 90's alt-rock and today's alt-pop. "wish u well" is a hypnotic song that almost lulls you with singer Victoria Winter's slacker style vocals and mesmerizing guitars. The song does have a fierce bite which reveals itself more when Winter's vocals fade out. "wish u well" is going to be especially appealing to fans of Liz Phair, Blondshell, and Hello Mary. The song harkens back to Shower Curtain's origins as a bedroom pop act, now formed as a full band.

Victoria Winter says of her band's new single:

“‘wish u well’ is about the feeling of having the rug swept from underneath you. In a lot of ways, I think this song is a lot of what my teenage self wished the project could create. That vision has long changed and I am definitely aware of this song not having the more shoegaze and heavier grunge elements that represent the project's new phase and is more similar to the old phase of Shower Curtain. Yet, I still think its production is unmatched and next level between Ethan and I.”

You can watch the video for "wish u well" below. words from a wishing well is due out October 18 on Fire Talk Records/Angel Tapes. For more on Shower Curtain, check out the band on Twitter and Instagram.
