Blvck Spvde & The Cosmos have one of the most unique sounds we've brought you in a while. They count Sun Ra, Madlib, and Q-Tip among their influences, and their latest single reflects that. "Doom" is a tribute to the late MF DOOM, and is this amazing hybrid of jazz, funk, and hip hop. While the main inspirations for the song may be decades old, Blvck Spvde & The Cosmos merge them together in a way that sounds fresh and new. "Doom" is a song with roots in the past, but is completely vital and modern. If you have a soul, you're going to quickly become obsessed with this one.
