Two of my favorite MCs I've discovered in the past year have been Che Noir and Benny the Butcher, so I'm obviously going to be thrilled by Che Noir's latest single since it features Benny the Butcher. The two Buffalo based hip hop artists team up on "Wash the Dishes." The song has this amazing vibe that feels like a classic 80's song mixed with early Wu-Tang Clan while still sounding like the best style of modern hip hop. Che Noir and Benny the Butcher may be classic rappers, but "Wash the Dishes" is hardly a throwback jam. Let's hope these two work together as much as humanly possible.
Che Noir says of her new collaborative song:
“I remember when I heard the beat, and did my verse I knew Benny would be a perfect fit for this. Benny pulled up to the studio I was recording at in Rochester, we broke bread and 'Washed The Dishes.'”
You can listen to "Wash the Dishes" below. Che Noir's upcoming album, The Last Remnants, is due out October 26. For more on Che Noir, check out the artist's website.
