Looking Glass War continue to be one of Boston's best bands that doesn't sound anything like Boston. Their latest single, "Rumination House," is a glammed up song that sounds like 1980's British New Wave and darkwave. The glam is mostly from vocalist Goddamn Glenn, which sounds especially stellar on this track thanks to Johnny Marr style guitar provided by Pete Zeigler. It's a slower track that is heavy on groove, sounding upbeat despite being a relatively downbeat track. It's the type of song that will almost instantly grab you, and will have you completely smitten once the chorus starts. Looking Glass War are one of those bands that sounds like they've been playing together for decades despite being fairly new.
