Inspector 34 - "Hurts"

We first brought you the music of Inspector 34 back in November 2020. It was an interesting and unique indie rock sound, steeped in sludge but also with an ambitious 70's rock sound to it. Now, they are back with new music... or at least Jim Warren is. The Inspector 34 founder is set to release his first solo acoustic music. All thirty four songs on the upcoming So Low We Can't Hear You are from multiple live recordings Warren has made over the past decade. They are raw live recordings with no overdubs. The first single is "Hurt," which is a captivating performance filled with raw emotions. It has the same intensity and vibe of classics from Daniel Johnston and Neutral Milk Hotel. It's relatively standard as far as indie rockers going solo and acoustic, but Warren is such a great and unique performer that "Hurt" truly stands out.

You can listen to "Hurt" below. So Low We Can't Hear You is due out June 10 via Sad Milk Collective, and can be pre-ordered through Bandcamp. For more on Inspector 34, check out the artist's Facebook and Instagram.
