FEEP - "Take a Pill"

Boston's FEEP take their name from WNAC-TV's alien host of Fantasmic Features which aired horror and sci-fi movies in the 1960's. FEEP pretty much sound like a band that would take their name from a 1960's horror host. "Take a Pill" has a certain groovy garage rock vibe from that time period without sounding like they're just copying music from them. It also has just a shade of menace or darkness to it which just adds to the horror show feel. But FEEP sound like a completely modern band that is aware of their musical past and paying tribute to it. This first single is from a band that is going to be a lot of fun for a hopefully long time to come.

Robert McDonald (guitarist/co-vocalist) says of the new single:

“It's a sarcastic commentary on today's society, and how we must tone ourselves down in order to belong.”

You can listen to "Take a Pill" below. FEEP Has Landed is due out later this Fall. For more on FEEP, check out the band's website.
