Saying that we liked Faye Webster's 2019 release Atlanta Millionaires Club is a bit of an understatement. The album narrowly missed my top ten of the year, and now Webster is back with a new single. "In a Good Way" could be an unreleased track from her previous album. It's an R&B-tinged slow jam, which normally would be the last thing I'd want to hear, but Webster just has her own sound that I can't resist. Even if "R&B-tinged jam" doesn't sound like you're kinda thing, you really owe it to yourself to give "In a Good Way" a listen. Webster filters that genre through her own style. It's almost like 90's DIY indie rock decided to make a completely earnest R&B song, which I think we can all agree sounds like a killer concept. You can watch the video for "In a Good Way" below. You can stream and purchase the single here. For more on Faye Webster, check out her website.
