"The world's first and therefor best DOOMBRASS band," Eight Foot Manchild," are back with a new single. "The Gregor Samsa Blues" completely destroys the stereotype that a horn section can make every song happy and bouncy. Sure, this new song does have a certain bounce to it, but the use of trombone, baritone sax, and tuba in "The Gregor Samsa Blues" just adds to the heaviness of the song. The song may have a slight sense of funk, but it's a downbeat or downtrodden version of funk. But, despite all of that, Eight Foot Manchild are still a fun listen.
You can listen to "The Gregor Samsa Blues" below. The song is available now via Bandcamp. For more on Eight Foot Manchild, check out the band on Facebook and Instagram.
