Allegra Krieger - "Nothing In This World Ever Stays Still"

The newest single from Allegra Krieger is one of the most oddly captivating singer/songwriter tracks we've heard in a while. "Nothing In This World Ever Stays Still" focuses on Krieger's vocals and songwriting, and due to these two factors the song comes so close to being a potential mainstream hit. The music is what sets this song apart from other ones in the genre. It seems fairly disjointed and almost as if it hasn't been completed, but in an obviously intended way. The effect is to make you focus almost completely on Krieger's voice and words, and gives you a just slightly uneasy feeling. It's a fascinating song that is going to make you keep listening more and more.

Allegra Krieger says of her new single:

"I wrote this song in a tumultuous time in my life out in LA for a brief stint," Krieger explains. "Everything felt connected and in constant motion, work came and work went, wildfires were raging, a relationship was failing. I was experiencing wildly meaningful phone calls with potential craigslist employers. The house I was staying in had a balcony which looked out over the expansive suburban valley. Beautiful sunsets. I was embracing the movement and the chaos, and the way everything fit together. Everything felt wrong, but the wrongness felt correct."
