Treeboy & Arc - "Logistical Nightmare"

There seems to be a resurgence lately of danceable post punk, and we're here for it. The latest is Leeds is Treeboy & Arc. Their latest single, "Logistical Nightmare," is a rant about social media that is going to make you want to groove. It's a high energy song with vicious vocals that could be from any time in the past forty years. While "Logistical Nightmare" is quite dance friendly, it's not a full on dance song. There is too much of a punk edge to be fully a dance song even if it is a blast to listen to.

In a press release, vocalist James Kay says of the new song:

"Logistical Nightmare is about how infuriating it can be to watch people navigate social media. Whether it’s a painful infographic telling you how to drink water on a hot day or a re-shared article by someone who definitely didn't read it.

"Social media can be a great tool for people at times, but more often than not I feel the cons outweigh the pros. I guess writing a 3 minute song about it all probably only made me hate it even more…"

You can listen to "Logistical Nightmare" below. Life Preserver is due out August 6. The EP can be pre-ordered here. For more on Treeboy & Arc, check out the band's Facebook and Twitter.
