The Modern Era - "Dear Anyone"

Minneapolis group The Modern Era is back with their first new music since 2016. "Dear Anyone" is a killer alt-rock song that sounds like it was lifted straight from the 1990's. This could easily have been on a CD sampler that you picked up, and ended up becoming your favorite song on the compilation. The bass line in particular sounds extremely 90's, in the best possible way. "Dear Anyone" is giving me late 90's flashbacks, back when guitars were still grungy, but the songs were getting a little more polished and grooved a bit more. We're just discovering The Modern Era, but we're thrilled they're back with new music.

You can watch the video for "Dear Anyone" below. The Modern Era have a new album due sometime in 2026. For more on the band, check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
