Casket Rats - "Stealin'"

Friday might be the perfect day for Casket Rats. The Boston band makes no nonsense rock and roll, the kind people like to say no one makes any more. Their latest single, "Stealin'," is a gritty straight up rocker. This is the kind of music that Guns 'n Roses would make if they had leaned into their punk roots a bit more. It's that kind of sound that blends metal and punk into a perfect hybrid, and sounds like it could have been made any time in the past fifty years. Crank this one up, crack one open, and stay out a little bit later tonight in honor of the latest from Casket Rats.
Bassist/vocalist Keith Bennett says of his band's new music:
“This has been a ticking time bomb waiting to blow since the day we finished tracking. It’s four Rats in a basement sweating, vibing, yelling, screaming and hitting things at a very high decibel level.”
You can listen to "Stealin'" below. Rat City Rockers is due out November 7 on Tee Pee Records. For more on Casket Rats, check out the band on Instagram and Facebook. They'll be playing an album release party November 8 at The Middle East.
