You People - "Deliver Me Home"

Boston's You People have been kicking around for four years and are just about to release their debut full length album. The first song from that album, "Deliver Me Home," is this burst of jangly power pop that we just don't quite get enough of. The band's vocals would probably have labelled them as a "slacker" band back in the 90s, but the music is far too hyper to truly earn that label. Overall, "Deliver Me Home" is a little too fast for indie rock, but not quite heavy enough to be punk. It's almost as if members of Pavement and Belle and Sebastian got together and decided to rawk.

You can watch the video for "Deliver Me Home" below. You People's debut album, Dropouts, is due later this year on Custom Made Music. For more information on You People, check them out on Facebook.
