Sarah Belle Reid + Vinny Golia - "Red Crested Floo Bog"

The collaboration between Sarah Belle Reid and Vinny Golia is going to be tough to categorize. I guess the blanket description for "Red Crested Floo Bog" is experimental jazz, but that barely touches it. The song is a sonic exploration using clarinet, trumpet, and modular synthesizer. All the instruments seem to compliment and counteract each other. This is definitely not going to be a song for everyone as it pushes far too many boundaries. However, if you like your music unique and experimental, "Red Crested Floo Bog" is definitely worth a listen. At worst you'll find it interesting, and at best your sonic palate might be forever altered.

Sarah Belle Reid says of her latest collaborative single:

"The synthesizer becomes this mischievous third improviser, catching our sounds and throwing them back at us in unexpected ways. It's like having a conversation with someone who keeps interrupting you, but in a charming and delightful kind of way.”
